Who am I ?
I am Gabrielle Alya, author-composer-performer. I accompany myself with the shamanic drum, the piano and the handpan. My music is inspired by medecine chants and mantras. I like to create bridges between the sacred and the sound poetry.
My pure and lyrical voice, inherited from my journey in opera, roots today in chamanism and intuitive music to offer a deep and vibrant experience.
I am happy to share my music at festivals of music, yoga and spiritual traditions: Hangaout, the Rencontres Chamaniques de Fonroque, the Women Spirit Festival, the Journées du Patrimoine, VineArt or even different Salons du Bien-Être.
Among my inspirations are Eivør (The Last Kingdom), Peia, Ayla Schafer, Aurora, Danit and Nessi Gomes.
My first album Inner Child is released in 2019, followed by The Crossing in 2023, mixing compositions in French, English and instrumental pieces.
I regularly publish new titles and at the same time, I create new melodies as mantras, designed to bring softness and presence, and accompany meditation as well as body practices.
